Bob's autobiography

January 9, 2013

I was born in Bartlesville, Ok on June 28, 1949.  My brother Lee was born 18 months earlier.  I also have a sister, Christina, who was born seven years later in 1956.

My mother, Jean Lee, was raised in Janesville, Wi.  My mother's materal side, the Huguenin family, were descendants of French Huguenots who came to America in 1732.  Her paternal side, the Lee family, came to America in 1635.

My father, Roscoe C. Hansens, was born in Mansfield, Il and raised in St. Johns, Mi.  His maternal side, the Roth family, were second generation immigrant German farmers.  His paternal side, the Hansens, were second generation immigrant Danish farmers.

Both my parents served in the Navy in World War II.  My father was a Naval aviator and my mother was Yeoman First Class.  They married in Sept, 1946.  After the war my father worked for a short period as a corporate pilot for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, Ok.
