Rodney Louis Mansfield, spent most of his life in the state of Washington, and the last 5 years in California, where he was married to Sara Mansfield. He had 2 stepsons (Cody and Chace), one daughter (Emma) and many many foster children. Foster care was a passion of Rod's, he showed love and respect to every child that came through the doors of the children's shelter. In Rod's spare time, when he wasn't building or working on his own house, Rod enjoyed being outdoors. He loved hiking, camping, sailing, canoeing, photography and his favorite hobby of riding quads on the sand dunes. Rod was a strong and loving husband, father and son. He always worked hard to take care of his family and do the right thing for all people. One thing Rod told his children everyday was, "what's the most important thing? Treating people good". So if there are things we can take from Rod's life it should be to remember to " treat people good" and opening our homes to children in need and loving them unconditionally. We love you Rod, so very very much, you will be truly missed by all.
