Ross D. Furry, 66, past Executive Director of Public Risk Management in Florida, passed away August 4, 2015, at Tidewell Hospice House in Arcadia, Florida.  He was a resident of Punta Gorda, Florida. Ross was a graduate of Arsenal Technical H.S. in Indianapolis, attended Memphis State Univ., and was a graduate of the University of Indianapolis.

Ross is survived by two sons:  Jason (Rhonda) and their sons, Brandon and Braxton; and Scott (Kathie) as well as his sister, Carol Raabe (Karl) and their son, Samuel.

Ross leaves behind his wife, Donna, and her children:  Shannon (Charlie), Doug (Jen), Greg (Jackie), Richie (deceased), and their children.  No service is currently planned.  Memorial remembrances may be sent to Arcadia Hospice House, 919 N. Arcadia Ave., Arcadia, Florida  34266.
