For many years I prayed for Roy, wrote him notes and remembered his sons with notes.  How wonderful that he found his purpose in life and acted on it.
When I saw him I was always greeted with a massive hug and that heart warming smile.  I believe these last few years were preparing him for eternity with our Lord and Savior.

Roy really Loved his BBQ!!

Good friends getting together and breaking bread and sharing in each others recovery! Roy really loved his recovery!

Roy really enjoyed spending time with his friends. This picture was taken at the Coronado bomb fire pit BBQ meeting of Narcotics Anonymous. We would get together once a month on the Beach and share in each others recovery.

I still remember how proud and happy that mom and dad were when we found out Sonny and Kim had a son. It was their second grandchild and a boy at that.    Roy was with us such a short time and we were not ready for him to leave us.  He was just beginning to reach out to make his mark.  And we lost him but the footprint that he made while he was here touched so many lives.  

We loved him and will miss him.
