My Dad always joked that he planned to live to be 100 years old. Sadly, the day before his 73rd Birthday, he had a terrible fall and passed away 11 days later.. I will update this for you dad for as long as I live so we keep you clear in our memory..

 The beginning.. Rudolf Lohrey was born on the 11th December 1934 to his parents Helene Emma Rumpf and Friedrich Lohrey. He grew up in Hanau Germany with 2 sisters and 1 brother.
 He married Therese Luise Eckel on the 10th March 1956 and with his wife and 6 children, migrated to Australia and arrived on the 18th March 1970.
4 Years later, another son was born.
