This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Russell Matthews, 60 years old, born on November 1, 1955, and passed away on February 18, 2016. We will remember him forever.

Russell I will miss you because I know and knew how much you loved Julie Jones my God mother. She never got to have children of her own and she brought me in to your bar and introduce me I could see so much love between the two of you it was so strong and unbreakable. You took care of all of us girls and guys that worked for you! You were and amazing kind man when I was pregnant and sick you would help me get food and you would make me a water with lemon. And bring It to me. A soul that God called home way to soon. I know your watching over all of us and Julie she'll Love you till the day she dies. And one day yall will be together again. I love you Russell and Julie!

I remember the first time I met russell to the day..what he first said to me and what he had on. I had went and applied at the pub..already had interview and got the job thru his nephew..he sat beside me and asked if the fan was blowing to much air on me..I said no iam fine.. he said ok your eyes were watering so I thought maybe it was the fan..I replied no iam just sad. I just broke up with my boyfriend..and he said. Oh so you single..Lol. ..from there on we laughed shared stories..and talked all nite..5 years later still together until the Lord needed him in heaven..he had on a white button down dress shirt..and those eyes melted me all nite!!
