Thanks! Harmlessly checking email and there's a reminder that you've been gone a year already. HOW did THAT happen? You were just taken WAY too soon, buddy. Your friend did an amazing job with this site and the song that plays. Jerks tears EVERY friggin' time. I no like that. I hope it's still quite awhile before I see you, but that is all in God's plan, as you know. I'll keep thinking of you with every chicken wing or "the best steak ever" that I may get to eat.

Thought of you today, my friend. As I was feeding my two girls, Solid Gold Katz-N-Flocken. You know I will never stray from serving my four legged babies only the best. We had MANY a conversation about that, didn't we? I think it saddened you a bit that I had already done the research, including your own brand, and you agreed with me that you couldn't find a single thing wrong with my choice in Solid Gold. I would have switched to your brand, though, if it meant you spending one more day on this earth (there- I have officially put the oddest death bargain on the table!!) So strange that we never met in person, yet we had ALL of these friends from Tech Data in common. My dearest mentor, Chip Stein, was one of your best clients. Cheryl Cox and Brenda Jane- damn, you loved us blondes! You are so missed and I just felt the need to post a note to let your family know how very much you touched people's lives. Here I was harmlessly feeding my cats today, when Scott Ogilvie came to visit. Enjoy the chicken wings in heaven, my friend (I will always love our conversation about "beer and wings in Tampa Bay"! My God, I did not know I was opening up a discussion with the world's expert on chicken wings!!!)

Scott, I friended you on Facebook many months ago and I never received a response. I always wondered why.  Today I just happened to visit your page, I learned why and feel like I just had the wind knocked out of me. We were on the same sales team at Tech Data and you were the team leader. It was my first job after I migrated to FL from NY and you always made things easier for me than they would ordinarily be. After all, I had no sales experience nor did I have a technical background. You were a big part of the reason why I lasted there for as long as I did. I wasn't exactly what you would call a sales personality. To say things were VERY difficult for me would be an understatement. You always had a way of cracking us all up with your sense of humor. It was in fact your inspiration that had me find a way of selling all that Microsoft product that won us the biggest promotion TD had at the time. We haven’t been in touch for a long time…since I left Tech Data…must be somewhere around 15 years ago. But it’s all permanently burned into my memory and that’s where it will stay.

Scott ~ I've known you since 6th grade. Lost track of you for 20 years when I had to move to Illinois with my family but I was excited to find you on facebook after all of these years. I was blessed to talk to you on the phone a few times. When we did talk on the phone it was as if no time had past at all. You will surly be missed. Thank~ you for being my best friend when we were kids. I have great memories. My oldest son's middle name is Scott, I named him after you, he is 32.

Scott (aka Bigfoot), I was so glad to have seen you at our class reunion. Remembering times playing tennis at Fossil Park. Lennie and I against you alone was never fair. We never stood a chance. lol You will be missed by many, the true sign of a great person.
