You were my teacher

You solved my problems

You cared for your family.

You adored your family.

You loved your family.

Your family loves you.

All woman fell for you.

You knew it too.

You had the keenest wit.

You were a beautiful baby.

You were a precious toddler.

You were a wonderful grandson.

You were a great nephew.

You always stepped up once you realized.

You had good morals.

You forgot that sometimes.

You influenced folks in positive ways.

You always put others first.

You were so worth every moment.

You were.

You lived.

You left us.

It hurts.

It always will.

You are my son Shawn.

You are missed.

You are blessed in Heaven.

He was both beautiful on the outside and, more importantly, on the inside making him too pure for this earth. He displayed compassion, maturity, and insight far beyond his years. 

Our hope is that this website will be visited often to serve as a celebration of his short life and reflect all of the lives he touched in one way or the other, how much he was loved, cared for and is missed by so many!

To say we will remember him forever is an understatement. He was and still is such a big part of our lives just as he had a big personality and outlook on life.

‘We all love you so, so much, you are so precious to us; our hearts have snapped into 1,000 pieces and more.

‘You lit up our lives each and every day.

‘We are all so proud of you for what you achieved in the so very short time you were with us.

‘One day those of us who have been left behind will see your light once again and then we will be together once more, but until that day arrives have lots of fun with angles.

I never said goodbye to you, 

it made no sense to me.

I only say goodbye,

to those I'll never see.

One day I'll hold your hand again;

in my heart I do believe,

that is not the end of life;

it's just a short reprieve.

instead I said "I love you".

As you departed on your journey

to a place where life is new.

I held your hand and kissed you.

Your leaving made me cry.

But in the end,

I know I'll see you again...

So I never said goodbye.
