My heart was broken and is heavy today knowing my friend has passed away !
It is odd, but I dreamed she called me Sunday or Monday night...she said "Brenda this is Shirley McAleese"... I was happy to hear her voice...I guess, it was her way of saying goodbye. I cherished her friendship and will cherish the wonderful memories.
With this note I send my deepest heartfelt sympathy.

May the sun bring you new energy every day, bringing light into the darkness of your soul. May the moon softly restore you by night bathing you in the glow of restful sleep and peaceful dreams. May the rain wash away your worries, and cleanse the hurt that sits in your heart. May the breeze blow new strength into your being, and may you believe in the courage of yourself. May you walk gently through the world, keeping your loved one with you always knowing that you are never parted in the beating of your heart. Apache blessing ((hugs))

The Christmas Pageant

December 3, 2015

My initial debut on stage was in the Christmas pageant Aunt Shirley organized with the children of the rowing club and I don't remember being any too thrilled about the adventure.   I believe it was to celebrate the completion of the old boys club house.  I think her artistic talent and love of music is what I will remember about her most.  I loved seeing the older photos its been so long since I've seen any of uncle Jack.  They certainly passed along the love of nature, song and stage. Gone but never forgotten.
