its not over yet!

When Stef was 5 we lived in Blackfoot Idaho. I would often take the kids with me to get fresh raw milk at a near by dairy. One trip it was just the girls and I. As we walked to the inside of the dairy where we filled our milk jugs Stef was looking the cows over. There was one that was particularly larger than the others. And Stef said " Mom ! Would you look at this humungous cow ! " It was just funny to me then and still that a little 5 yr old would use the big words. Which Stef delighted in doing even as an adult. Sometimes it was just funny and interesting to hear unusual words coming from her. lol It was fun though

believe it or not, i was currious about the twilight series but Stef wanted to watch the first one just to see it. we didn't see the first one until the last one was out. some channel had a marathon of the whole series going on a saturday. we did nothing but watch from start to finish the whole day! she fell in love with it so much that anytime any twilight movie came on we had to watch it. so we had seen the movies so many times we could almost repeat it!!!! she never did anything half way! good or bad it was all in!!! 

One night Stef and I went to have Coffee at the new Denny's when we lived in Fallon, Nv.  I think it was pretty late. I don't remember how the coversation started  exactly. I remember I asked her a question I think about a song , and her reply was Bob Marley. For some reason, it was really really funny. Then she started talking like Bob Marly. We laughed harder. Then serious conversation again and she asked me a question I don't remember what it was I only remember my answe .. " I don't know Bob Marley ?"  and we busted up laughing again.  No matter what we said or asked the answer was ... Bob Marley. People began to stare awe laughed so much and I guess we were a little loud too. The manager and waitress  kept looking over at us and talking. We thought they were going to kick us out. ...... they stopped bringing us coffee. Steff said she was going to report them to .... yep  Bob Marley. 

Those who knew Stef knew she had a wit about her, she could be snarky even sarcastic. And it was something I believe she was born with. ;) It was just her. Her teen years were  interesting, intense and a challenge.  Stef was a right proper teenaged girl complete with attitude. And there always was attitude lol.
We lived in Cheyenne Wyoming Stef was 13, and she had a mouth on her that always got her into trouble.  She liked slamming doors as well to let everyone know how mad she was. One day, I don't remember what she did but she got into trouble and that door slammed. So, I had her open and close the front door 25 times. She  voiced her objections and it became 30 times.... more of the same and several times and more door slamming so eventually it became 100 times.
She knew she wasn't going to win so she opened and closed the door. She became bored I think so   she opened the door with great excitment and enthusiasm  and announced Benjamin Franklin 30. Abraham LIncoln 31, George Washinton 32, John Lennon 33, John Mellencamp 34. And for some reason it became really really funny. All we did was laugh. She would keep one hand on the door and the other would fly into the air as if she really was announcing the arrival of each person she named. I don't remember if she got to 100 times of closing the door. But I do remember she thought twice  about slamming anymore doors. And I remember how very funny the whole thing ended up being. She was a character. 

sometimes here in utah we get some really good rain storms! i remember Stef would love to go outside in the rain and stand in the gutter with bare feet making waves that would go up past her waist! she thought that was fun!

Stef and I met at work in 2003. She was the new girl in upload! All the guys were saying "did you see the new girl in upload"? I drove a forklift in upload and had to keep product on both sides of the line! Guys would stand in my way trying to see her and I would have to yell at them "Yes, she's hot, now get out of the way"! After knowing her for a few months, I got the courage to make a bet with her on football for beers. Her team won so I wanted to pay my debt. I told her "your beer is in my fridge at home. You will have to come over sometime to get it"! She promptly said "Go ahead and drink it"! WOW!!! That was a blow to the gut!! lol...a few months later, she had already left the company but still had friends at my work. One of them had been talking me up to her(without my knowledge) and Stef told her to give me her number. The guys were giving me all kinds of advice on what i should do next. So, i made her wait for three days before calling! I had her hook, line, and sinker! Its been a great 10 years of my life! Thank you Stef for giving me your number! I love you babe!
