Sue was an amazing women, she was a hoot to be around always could make you laugh. She was a wonderful Mom, but as a Mom we seem to ask to many question and get into our children's business, but that's because of the love we have, a deep love and until your child has a child and he or she grows up, you will not understand. She deeply loved her children and everyone else she new. Your family and friend's will truly miss you. Fly with the angels and Doug, you are home in God's hand's......

Stephanie, David and family, I am so sorry to hear about Sue. I just saw her last week and she was bragging on David (of course). She was so excited to hear that you were going back to college and just knew you would do something great with your degree. She was such and sweet and cool lady to me when I hung out with the family back in the day, and still continued to visit and hug me every time we ran in to each other. I am so sorry that you two are facing such heartache again. She was loved and will be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sue at Stephanie and Wes's wedding two summers ago. Although, I only got to spend a few days with her, the one thing I remember the most about her is how caring and passionate she was about Stephanie and David. She was the type if woman and mother that would give the shirt off her back for her children and anyone else for that matter. I remember her being truly happy during that trip and I think she enjoyed every minute of it, including seeing her daughter get married to a wonderful husband like Wes. I wish I had gotten to know her more but I feel like I somewhat know her a lot since my friendship with Stephanie had grown so much. She obviously did an awesome job raising her children because it has shown thru Stephanie's charector and caring nature. Rest in Peace Sue and many prayers for your family and friends.
Kindest Regards, Cindy Wall

I went to high school and Westview Baptist Church with Sue. I introduced her to Doug. Sue and Sandra were like sisters to me. They gave me a ride to school my freshman year. (197I) I felt special hanging out with seniors.  Sue was such a great basketball player. She made great grades and was a beam of light. I came to Slaton in September and intended to meet her one day and catch up. I ran out of time and didn't get to see her. I know she is happy and pain free. In heaven with God and Doug. RIP my friend you were my hero.

Stephanie and David, I'm so so sorry for the loss of your mom! She was always so sweet to me. She made time to stop and talk to me every time she saw me. The last time I talked with her she was bragging on her kids. She was so proud of you both. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed!
