Summer was born June 7, 1980 in Oregon.  She joined our family as an infant and was later adopted. Summer grew up in Lakeside, Oregon and attended North Bend High School.  She graduated from Quest Academy in Tigard. We lost Summer on October 12, 2016 in Mansfield, Ohio. Her life was claimed by treatment for head and neck cancer.

In Ohio, Summer is survived by her husband Quentin Looman and his partner Emily; her boyfriend, Brian Lunsford; her children: daughter Alexsis Sparks and Alexsis' father Jeffrey Sparks of Mount Vernon; daughter Haleigh Gage; son Xavier Looman; daughter Karma Looman; son Quentin Looman and son Quade Looman; all of Mansfield.

In Oregon, Summer is survived by her mother, Ginger Gage; her brother, Brian Gage; and her sister Ann Willis all of Coos Bay and her sister Mary Lee and Mary's husband Ken of Newport, Oregon. Summer is also survived by her numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Gage of Lakeside, Oregon.

Summer also maintained a loving relationship with her family of origin.
