Today is three years since you’ve been gone! And now dad is gone. I miss you both so much. Love you so much!!

I only had the chance to meet my mother in law once. In the beginning of my relationship with Mark she and I would trade e-mails on a regular basis. I think she was just making sure I was good enough for her son. Rest assured Susie, I am taking good care of your baby boy.

I have so many cherished memories of my mom. The one thing she could do is make me laugh. She said laughter was the best medicine. Even being so sick toward the end she was still making me smile.

One of my favorite memories is the time we spent together in Hawaii. Just the two of us. We had so much fun exporing the Island. We decided to do an excursion and go snorkeling. Well, seeing my mom in her snorkel gear made me laugh. We looked hysterical! Mom made it about 10 minutes and I hear her saying...."something is touching my feet" it freaked her out and out of the ocean she went. That trip was beautiful. We always talked about going back. I choose to be thankful for that one trip. Full of beauty and laughs.
