Market Street

December 17, 2010

I've finally mustered up enough strength to write about my favorite moment.  I can't say that I have just one favorite moment.  You made every moment so special.  Market Street is so memorable having you and Adelyn run around and play with each other.  The picture of you at Chick-fil-a describes you to a T.  You are such a cutie-pie!!  Having lunch with you at Chick-fil-a and sharing germs was the best!!  I'm not sure if I can ever eat there without smiling and imagining your beautiful face.  We came over to your house for dinner and had hotdogs and fruit salad.  You shared your toys so well and I was very impressed with your 'cooking' abilities.  You have the most beautiful smile that could light up any room.  We will forever miss you sweet angel.

Proud Daddy

November 18, 2010

My brother's grin is so wonderful and genuine.  His children are the light of his life.  He is a wonderful father.  Liz is a wonderful mother.  I love this photo!

Life of the party-

November 17, 2010

Taylor and family came to my 25th birthday party, right after a family dinner for Jack's 3rd birthday. Taylor was one of the best guests at the party even though it was getting pretty late- she was one of the happiest kiddos i've been around.

I enjoyed getting to watch her grow while Andy and Liz were in Colorado. Andy loved telling everyone at the office what she was up to- she really was their little princess. I feel very lucky to have gotten to know her.

Twinkle Twinkle

November 17, 2010

Facebook has been the “next best thing to being there” for me in regards to staying connected to the people I love who don’t live close by.  This is especially true for me with my niece Elizabeth.  Often I log in just to enjoy the latest adventures of Jack and Taylor.  Now I log in to stay connected in a much different way. It is profound and comforting to witness the outpouring of love and support for a family suffering the tragic loss of the most divine love we humans are allowed on earth.

The honesty shared, the generosity shown, and the old fashioned art of being a good friend and neighbor, which at times seemed extinct to me in this crazy world, is alive and well.

The sadness is so deep it is sacred, way beyond words.

 These are my favorite things:

Post on 11/9/10

Elizabeth Godfrey Warner  is listening to Taylor sing Twinkle Twinkle in her bed...way too dang cute for words!!!  Mostly she just hums the tune and says "up above" over and over but I love it!!!

Piggy and Paws

November 17, 2010

What a fun day this was.  Trying to get 20 kids sit still for a print of their hand or foot. Taylor was a fiesty little girl this day no wanting any part of this activity...(who can blame her?). Poor baby just wanted to take a  nap.... and we all just wanted to give her  a  big squeeze

Pato.....Pato !!!

November 16, 2010

I can remember her so full of joy this last friday, during storytime..  I was reading a story about a " pato".. (  duck) ... and she started repeating " pato...pato...!( duck, duck) ..I stopped reading the story... and start looking for that little voice  speaking spanish..... I looked at her thinking that I misunderstood, and she started saying "Pato"  again!    I was in shock, I looked at her mom with an excited look ( I was thinking to myself that she was actually paying attention, understanding the story and learning spanish... and she was so young !, )  she was the CUTEST thing speaking her first words in spanish... she looked at me and  said " PATO"... again..... OHH!  I will never forget that funny little face saying " Pato".......She made it my best storytime ever  !!!

You really touched us and You will be in our hearts forever !!

Chick-fil-a

November 15, 2010

I have to say, one of my favorite memories was going to chick-fil-a a few months ago! Taylor just loved to grub down the fruit and stick the biggest pieces of apple in her mouth all at once then giggle! Not to mention everytime she took a drink she would say MMMMM! Cutest little thing on the planet!! (: She was so darling! She will be missed by many! <3
