I knew Tony since the second grade and for years we choose different paths but these paths crossed again in 2008.We married in Sept and Tony was diagnosed with brain cancer in Oct. We tried to live our lives together to the fullest when his illness would allow. I will never regret one moment with Tony, He showed me his love everyday of our lives together and he taught me to love myself. Even through his sickness his number one worry was for me. I was holding him as he slipped away and I felt part of myself go with him. I can still feel him near me and I often close my eyes and see his smile. I try not to think that he is gone but just waiting for me. Now he is without pain. I love you Tony and someday I will see your beautiful face again. Life without you is hard and I have my bad days but I am trying to do what you would want me to do. Always look up and be strong. It's never goodbye but until we meet again.... Beth Mathena
