Lunches with Mr.P

September 23, 2014

I personally have fond memories of Mr.Phillips and I having those afternoon lunches together, and just exchanging military stories between the two of us. Him in the Navy, and I in the Army Cavalry. He would call me Byran almost every time, and then say that isnt it is it? I would smile and say no its Brian, but you can call me anything you want just dont call me late for dinner....he would reply, OOOK, and smile. Goodbye my friend, and I hope to see you again at my demise.

The Garden View

September 23, 2014

Working in the Garden area made me feel good inside, to see how happy it made Bill & Polly as they both smiled with joy. This was their spot, they sat and enjoyed each others company everyday. Together again at last, with your wife. GOD BLESS you both. Angie and I will miss you greatly.

Wake up time

September 23, 2014

Every morning, I would sing him a song to wake him up.   It is the same song I sang to my daughter.:  The birds are singing and their singing our song, they sing happy happy day, and we all sing along. Happy happy happy happy morning to you, happy happy happy happy morning to you.  Happy happy happy happy morning to you, and were going yo have s great day! Yeah

Through the last 7 years, he started liking the songs.

Me and Mr. Phillips

September 23, 2014

Mr. Phillips and I got along from the moment we met.  He loved how I spoiled his wife Miss Polly.  He said I was the same person from the first day of work through the last.  He wanted to keep his mind sharp and insisted that I was "kind of smart".  I told him recently how me and Miss Polly would trick him.  When we would do crossword puzzle books, I would  buy two identicle books.  I would give him one book and I would keep the other.  They would sit in the chairs next to each other, and he  would have Miss Polly help him answer the questions. These were two incredibly gifted people who knew something about everything.  Anyway, when they would get stumped, I woulf say the answer outloud, and only Miss Polly could hear me.  He was so amazed that she knew each  answer that he was stumped on. He was so happy she could answer it. They were quite a pair!
