Gone but not forgotton.
Mr. Willie “Bo” Harmon, was born November 12, 1937 in Chambers County, AL. He was the fourth child born to the late Ms. Easter Harmon. “Bo”, as he was affectionately known, made this transition on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at his residence in Chicago, IL.
At an early age he joined the Hall Memorial CME Church, Valley, AL. Bo received his education at Rehobeth High School.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Alice Harmon.
As a young man he worked for George H. Lanier Hospital, and West Point Pepperell.
Later he and his wife decided to relocate to Chicago, IL. After relocating, he became employed with the U.S. Tobacco Co. and gave over 30 years of service until his retirement in 1995.
Willie was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lee Harmon, and a brother, York Harmon.
He leaves a legacy of treasured memories to: three sons, Willie J. (Elaine) Williams, Ricky Williams both of Valley, AL and Emanuel (Bernita) Fuller, Columbus, GA; five grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters, Zannie Hutchinson, Anniston, AL, Mandy (Robert)Brooks, Chicago, IL; sister-in-law, Julia B. Harmon, Lanett, AL; a niece that was reared as his sister, Mary Dean Harmon, Cleveland, OH; one aunt, Fannie Lee Williams, Chicago, IL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
