Willie George Sewell, 71 transitioned peacefully on September 17, 2014 at his home in McDonough Georgia.

Mr. Sewell was born on July 24, 1943 in Greenville, Georgia to James Brown Sewell and Grace Blount Sewell.

He graduated from Hogansville High School and shortly thereafter was drafted into the United States Army. Mr. Sewell served faithfully during the Vietnam War earning the Purple Heart and was honorably discharged in July 1969. Immediately following he went to work for Delta Air Lines where he retired after thirty-one years of dedicated service.

During this timeframe he met the love of his life and beloved wife of forty-two years.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Denson Sewell; sons, Timothy (Maria) and Nicholas; followed by his treasured grandchildren Michael, Caleb, Yarielys, and Alexis.
