Mes dames, Messieurs et famille,

Nous voila tous réunir ce matin pour rendre hommages a notre chère regrettée Rose Marie Clerveaux. Qui était Rose Marie Clerveaux? Comme vous le connaissez peut être déjà- Rose Maries Clerveaux est née le 13 Janvier, 1946 aux Cotes-de-Fer, Haïti de monsieur et madame Virgile Clerveaux née Fontilmise Erantus. Parmi leurs huit enfants, Rose Maries était la troisième élevée dans la religion Catholique ou son père était le responsable sacristain de la paroisse de Cotes-de-Fer.

Rose Marie était le bien aimé ou le chouchou de la communauté. Tout le monde l’appréciait. Elle était aimable, souriante, abaissante, dévouée au service de tout et a  chacun. Rose Marie et John c’est rencontre après le cyclone Flora en 1963 d’où Mr.  Chery travaillait aux Services Chrétien d’Haïti. Sur l’influence de son mari, elle s’est convertie à la religion Baptiste.

 En 1964 ils ont laisse Cotes-de-Fer pour habiter a Port-au-Prince plus précisément a Carrefour ou elles a donne naissance a ses enfants, Jean Michel, Marie Johnnie, Sadrac, Esther, Marie Marthe et Josué, et ils on fut adopter Magdala Thelisma tous présents parmi nous ce matin.

En 1980, Rose Marie a laisse Haïti pour les Etas Unis d’Amérique. Elle a habitée à Connecticut, après quelques années pour Long Island, NY, ou elle vivaient avec sa famille paisiblement. Rose Marie ne restait pas inactive. Elle prêchait l’évangile jours et nuit. Elle prie avec les malades, faire guérisons pour les persécutée, donnes a mange a ceux qui ont fain, habiller ce qui ont nus, consoler ceux qui sont dans la peine.

Tous ceux qui ont le privilège de la rencontre sur son passage alètes inoubliable dans leurs cœurs.

 Obituary

Mrs. Rose Marie Chery, age 65, died of stroke complication at Southern Regional Hospital in Riverdale, Georgia, on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 3:08 P.M..

Rose Marie was born on January 13th , 1946, Cotes-de-Fer, Haiti. to Virgil Clerveaux and Fontilmise Erantus. She was the third of eight children. Mrs. Chery lived in Cotes-de-Fer until she met her husband John when he came to work in her village with Service Chretien in 1964. The couple soon moved to Port-au-Prince. Rose Marie remained there where she gave birth to their children. She moved to the United States in 1980 where she lived in Connecticut for few years before moving to Long Island NY where they raised their children. Rose Marie was a home maker and a Spiritual leader. She conducted services every Friday and Saturday in Brooklyn until she became ill in 2009. Rose Marie touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her sense of humor all the way to the end. She painfully gave up her passion because her health. Rose Marie was a true servant of the Lord. She lived her life without reproach and her life was a true testimony as a woman of God.

Rose Marie is survived by her husband John Chery her best friend for over 47 years, her sisters Renee Thiersaint, Fernande Clerveau, Josette Clerveaux, Brigitte Clerveaux, her brother; Joseph, Birrel, and Yves Clerveaux; her Sons;  Jean Michel Chery with his wife Denise and their four children,Saddrack Chery with wife Magdala and their two year old son, Josue Chery and his son; her daughters: Marie Jhonnie Chery  with her husband Carl Gordon and their five children, Marie Esther Chery Monestime with husband Mackli and their two children., Magdala Chevaria with husband Oscar and their three kids, Marie Marthe Chery her two children and many children of the foregoing relatives.
