"Dear Femi
We are grateful to Almighty God for your life and thankful for the priviledge of being a part of it.
You were an extraordinary human being and a faithful disciple of Christ.
So valiant, so unafraid in your physical battle.  You lived always believing and planning for another tomorrow. We are sad because all your tomorrows are no longer with us on this physical plane, yet we take solace in the inspirational message you left us all.
You ran this race of life with endurance and dignity fixing your eyes always on the love of our Lord Jesus.
Thank you Femi for planning to visit in March. We all blocked  our calenders  and so looked forward to it.
Our comfort is knowing that all your tomorrows are now in eternity where you are resting in perfect  peace in the arms of the Almighty.
We are so proud of you.
Goodnight our dear Aburo till we meet to part no more.

"Our dear cousin Femi, it was a shock to learn about your unexpected passing but we know you are now resting in the arms of our everlasting father.
As David wrote in Psalms, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever." Psalm 23:6
It goes without saying that you'll be so missed - your heart and love for your family and friends, your infectious laugh and beaming smile,
your selflessness and sacrifice, your generosity and kindness, I could go on and on and on. Needless to say, we lost a rare diamond but heaven gained an angel.
Till we meet again,
Much Love Tolulope Oduntan, on behalf of the Oduntan family"

"Adefemi, a true Ambassador of our Lord Jesus Christ. You modelled Christ remarkably with courage, confidence, focus, strength and undeniable extraordinary joy rising above circumstances that presented. Your cheerful disposition encouraged me in immeasurable ways. It’s crushing when I think I’ll be missing all this as well as that voice so uniquely yours which always brought a surge of encouragement for me each time you said "Mimi". I thank God for the privilege of having you as a friend and sister, one who cared and always made a positive contribution in my life. I remain comforted knowing you are safe in the arms of Jesus. It gladdens my heart knowing without a doubt you have won a victor’s crown. You are truly blessed. Adieu my dear Femi till we meet to part no more at the bosom of our Lord Jesus -  Mimi xxx"

"My precious Adefemi, I miss you so much already. Solely by the grace of God is strength found, not to mourn as those who have no hope, as scripture instructs us. So I choose to rejoice, knowing our Heavenly Father has welcomed you home. You played a significant and God ordained strategic role in my life, as a mentor, encourager, intercessor and confidant.

I will always cherish your every phone call and email that seemed to come when I needed them the most. Thank you for investing in me and for the seed you sowed in my life. With God's help, I will make you proud. Rest in peace my precious cousin. I love you."

"Adefemi dear sister and friend, your life was an inspiration, a challenge and an encouragement to those of us who were privileged to be a part of your journey. You fought a good fight of faith, you endured hardship as a good solider of Christ and you kept the faith. You were not a victim of your circumstances, but you lived victoriously and triumphantly above your circumstances. You enjoyed life, went on vacations even wrote a book. You lived independently, drove yourself around and you were even contemplating buying your own house. In spite of all that you went through, you remain steadfast in your faith, unmovable always confessing the word of God.
You defied death several times and dumbfounded medical doctors by your tenacious faith and absolute trust in the integrity of the word of God. You taught us so many things including how to suffer well, how to count it all joy in the midst of trials and to remain steadfast and unshakable in the face of adversity.
2 Corinthians 2:14 “now thanks be unto God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” Adefemi even in death, you continue to diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge. We all prayed for your healing, God answered our prayers because you are now healed, whole and resting in the bosom of our Lord and savior.
We all took it for granted, being a warrior that you are, that you would keep on fighting. But I guess, you saw a glimpse of heaven and could not resist the urge to be in the glorious presence of your savior and Lord. Rest on dear friend till we meet to part no more. Like you always say “Jesus is Lord”."

"My darling Adefem, Fem! My sister, friend and confidant.  Where do I start? I can only begin where you would have started if you were writing to me and that is to thank God for the day we met in 1979. In the 37yrs since, you have been an awesome and loyal friend. I’m forever grateful for your love, kindness, generosity and support. Words are not enough to describe you.  You were a truly unique person, an extra special human being who despite her illness went beyond the call of duty for her friends and family. Thank you for being there for me in my hour of need, for looking out for me, for encouraging me, for not judging me. You have left a void in my life that will be difficult to fill.  In my own selfish way I wanted you here with me forever but I know that it was difficult and you put up a good fight. I know you are at peace, where you are. There’ll be no one to have those long chats at night with anymore. I miss you so badly it hurts to my core. However, you set an example in being strong and faithful in the way you served God with passion and dedication. It was only the other day that you were saying that you felt you could do a lot more to serve him. I felt you could do no more in your truthfulness to him so I have no doubt that you will be there in the new Jerusalem where there is no pain or gnashing of teeth.   I am sure you are riding in the clouds, shining like the star you are right now. To quote you “I’m in God’s hands and that is the best place to be”. Yes, you are in his hands, there is no better place to be. Thank you for being such a good friend. I miss you. Rest in peace my darling sister until we meet again."

It is often said that we are not defined by the heights we reach, but by how we handle adversity. You showed us all that with God by your side you were a shining beacon of unshakable faith and fortitude.

Thank you for this legacy.

"Dear Adefemi, it is very difficult to put my feelings about you in words, because there is just so much to say about you.
You were a very kind considerate person, who despite your poor health cared for others. You took time in listening and learning about other people's problems, and I remember clearly, the full support that you gave me, when I was facing some challenges 10 years ago. You were there for me, and even when I left the United Kingdom, you always wanted to know how I was coping in Nigeria.
You were a wonderful and genuine person, who I will miss dearly, but I know that wherever you are now, you will be at peace.
You were also an excellent Christian, who was always faithful to the LORD. I know for sure, that you will be rewarded for that quality.
I have known you since you were a child, and I am proud and very comfortable to call you my sister. I love you very much, and you will be forever in my heart, till we meet gain.
The last time, we spoke was a few weeks ago, when I popped into London for a few days. I remember telling you, that I was proud of you.
Rest in peace Adefemi, and may all those that you have left behind find comfort in the fact, that you are now in a better place."

"Dearest Femi, I write with a combination of sadness because I will no longer see you in this life again and joy because you are in a better place.  You gave me the perfect gift on my 50th birthday. The gift of prayer, at the time little did I know that it would be the last time I would speak to you. You were faithful to your creator to the end. Despite all you went through you always cared for others more than you did for yourself. I have wonderful memories of you as a little girl and later as a young woman. You were as beautiful on the outside as you were on the inside. You taught me never to be selfish. Femi, you will be missed terribly,  but I take heart that we will meet again. God bless you."

"I called you 008, and I was 007; from our Accenture days.

We had such great fun when we visited you and Momsie in Redhill some Decembers back; Nike and the girls felt they'd known you since forever. We kept talking of a Part II to that visit that will now never be...another painful reminder life's nothing but ephemeral.

The girls always cracked us up as they struggled to pronounce the 'p' in your lovely book 'The Adventures of Ijapa' when they got a copy. You never ceased speaking of where you wanted to visit next and how you'd have to improvise around your strict schedule to make it happen. Last time we spoke it was about plans to visit Nigeria.

You were a bastion of hope and resilience, constantly cheerful and a practical teacher. I learnt some important lessons about life from you Adefemi. Good night my dear friend."

"I met Adefemi just about two years ago, not quite connecting her with my friend Tilewa. We met in Israel through my sister Ayotola. She told me of her friend who had some special needs, but is very interested in coming for the Israel Trip. We decided to rent a couple of apartments in town to accommodate Adefemi's requirements. This proved to be a divine decision and I had the most amazing two weeks with this wonderful saint of the Lord. I was somehow apprehensive before meeting her, but from the first evening we sat together, I just became so comfortable with her. We connected and I realised she was Tilly's sister. Her profound faith, her deep love for the Lord, her positive outlook, her compassion, her love and generosity and her doggedness at achieving her goals were quite evident in these two weeks. She also had so much grace on her and just attracted favour everywhere we went. She made me think of how much personal strength she actually had, as she juggled the rigours of the gruelling Israel tours, with long hours of prayers and days on the dialysis machines in Israel. This woman was simply amazing.
I think the highlight of the trip was the Baptism at the Jordan river. Adefemi did not come with the Tour bus that morning and had to come up using taxis and Sherut (Mini Buses). She timed her arrival almost to  the minute and we were able to Baptise her in the River Jordan. What a privilege! What an honour!

Adefemi you were an inspiration. You radiated the joy of the Lord. You were full of grace and you carried a tangible peace about you. Your love for the Lord made you so charismatic. I know you are enjoying the splendour of the supreme majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ and I know you would not swap that for anything. So all I can say is we miss you, but we know we shall see you later. Rest in Peace.

"My Dearest Aburo,

I recollect like yesterday our hour long conversation on December 13th 2015. Its impossible to have a 5 minute catch up conversation with you and we both never seem to run out of gist. I was especially thrilled that you made the pilgrimage to Israel, a place I also cherish. Your motherly tone of voice was infectious and I can just picture you now having a conversation with the lord in his kingdom surrounded by his angels.

Femi I want to ask you for a favour. I know for sure that you are seated at the right hand of our father cos you worshiped him all your life. . Please look out for me and appeal to our father on my behalf that I am
trying my best to live my life as he says. Please also tell him to protect us left behind especially Auntie, Tilly, Biola, Bros T, Peju, Kemi, Keye. Arenike, Fikayo, Ife and AdeT.

Till we meet again. Farewell my sis.

"We may never understand but God sure understand why you were gone too soon........I was opportune to spend several hours with our dearly beloved sis. Adefemi Adebajo in early December 2015 here in Dublin at Beaumont Hospital and I was dazed and in total awe of her unwavering faith, her passion for God made me felt like answering the alter call again, her will, drive, tenacity for Jesus was evident; I would often go blank and lost in my thought and she has a way of pulling me back to reality of the WORD of God which according to her words and her testimony she has evidently lived in the past 11 years. She was bubbly and full of life and joy, we even took some selfie together. (teary eyes........) I remember picking her up from the hotel where she stayed to the hospital, I dropped her for the clinic appointments and promised to be back in a few hours; and she sent me a message on whatsapp to bring her an apple-pie from McDonald upon my was the first time as an Ekiti man to know how an apple-pie looked I expected it was a kind of a drink and it turned out to be an actual pie......and I though to myself an ''aje-butter'' will always be an ''aje-butter'' and that was who you were Femoooo an ''aje-butter'' to the core...... I watched you devour the ''apple-pie'' with delight and felt great it was worth all the diversion despite the rush hour traffic in Dublin to the closest McDonald to get you your request.......the clinic appointment itself was ''successful'' and I remember you asking me to take you for shopping to bring some souvenir with you to London to people special to you; we went to the Pavilion Shopping Center in Swords Dublin and I vividly remember you picking up really expensive gift-items to take with you back to London, and after your shopping we even had a meal together at Nandos in company of your best friend Adebanke Oluborode....I had a glimmer of hope that all was going to be well......but God in His infinite wisdom know better......Kabiosi! A rare gem you were and I have no doubt that you have gone to be with the Lord; now resting in a better place in the bosom of God. It is still hard for me to take in and I wish all L.R.A family members both at home and in the diaspora as well as friends and families all across the planet the inner fortitude to bear your passing away...... sun re ooo!"

Calls I should have made, visits I didn't make always assuming Femi is cool..But I know you are now at peace, resting in the warm blossom of the almighty...God will soothe the pain and Aunty ,Tilly, Kemi and Keye are well assured you are now at the pearly gates enroute Glory.!!! Rest in Peace my dear friend... and surely we shall meet again... Sun re o..."

"Adefemi, my dearest sister. You came, you saw, you conquered and now you have left us. A true woman of faith, despite all that you endured through the tears. You never stayed idle , there was always a project you were pursuing .
I remember our phone conversations (even when I do not call you will always call),never a negative confession  from your mouth, always positively confessing the Word regardless of how you felt - " Jesu l'Oba", Owo Jesu ni mo wa".
Our loss is Heaven's gain but we are comforted by your many words . Not one to miss an opportunity to declare the Word of Truth. We will all miss you and the children too, Timo your "Bobo " cried when he heard the news. Your memory and legacy will forever live on in our hearts.

"My dear Femi, hurts that I am doing this and why, but I somehow find a smile when I think of what you mean to me, how having you as a sister has made me a better person. For you will gently disagree with me, making your point clear, but with such a softness that only prompts a smile. You were such a beautiful soul and did not want anyone feeling sorry for you, I will miss you, but I am comforted knowing without a doubt that you are with our HEAVENLY FATHER, you masked every type of pain in faith, rest on now my dear sister, rest on. I thank GOD that we crossed paths, you were 5 years old when we became a family, wow! I pray the LORD will grant aunty, Tilewa, Kemi and Keye, the fortitude to bear this...XO- Kehinde Dacosta-Lawrence"

"Sade your cousin spoke so highly of you: your faith, your envangelism, love for God and ministry for Him. It is inspiring, God bless you as you now join the heavenly choir & great cloud of witness.
