Albert (or Grampy, as I called him) was a loving, caring, fun man. He didn't have a negative bone in his body. In the 27 years I knew him, I never heard him raise his voice, or curse, or speak ill of anyone. He could go somewhere and talk to a complete stranger for hours and leave with a new best friend. He donated blood on a regular basis, volunteered at a hospice, and volunteered to assist the blind. He loved animals and treated all of them gently and lovingly. He always played dodgeball, whiffle ball, or cards with his grandkids and even his great grandkids! He loved food, especially desserts! A trait he passed down through all the future generations. He loved the Patriots, Bruins, and Red Sox. But, most of all, he loved his family and he showed them that all the time. As a part of his family you would never doubt that he loved you with all his heart.
