"Hi, dad, you are in my thoughts often, as usual. I worry about mom and miss you both so very much. I am so sorry for how you spent the last 5 or so months of life here on earth.
God bless you, dad. I will always love you and miss you, your wit and humor. I am sorry I am not allowed to care for mom. Watch over us. Lord bless us, please. <3"

"Dad, I love you, & will never forget you. I am sorry that I was not told you were sick before you moved on to be with the Lord. I would have been there. Your last words to me were that you wanted to come home with me - I wish; I am grateful & blessed for the time I had with you.  You were an amazing dad, husband, and person. Mom misses you, I am sure, as I do. Happy Birthday, Daddy."

"Mr. Phebus will be missed. He was a very nice gentleman and I will never forget him. His family loves him very much. I hope that people will remember what he has shown me. That love is unconditional and should never be withheld. Because in the end, that's all that really matters."

"I remember Mr. Chet as a kind and generous man.  I remember some of the times I spent in the Phebus home and the time I got to go on their country vacation with them.  His kind and gentle spirit lives on through Linda."

"I never had the pleasure of meeting you but I do know I would have liked you. You left a fine legacy in your kind and beautiful daughter Linda. And if it is true that a man is known for his kind deeds then for sure you will always be remembered with love."

"Dad, I miss you so much and as the time passes, I am more grateful for the time you lived with me from 12/1/09 until 4/17/10. It was a joy to watch you come  back to life, get skinny ;), get strong and best of all, find your will to live. I love you so much, daddy. <3"
