Gloria was known for her love of gardening, baking homemade breads, cookies, cakes and decorating them. It's what she did professionally, for 24 years. She was also very much a Watercolor Artist. She painted scenes from our garden, or from a place we traveled to on a vacation.
She went to NorthEastern University and majored in Art. She was a Graphic Designer right out of school at Montgomery Wards Corporate offices in Chicago.( Where we met)
Also among her favorite past times was also cochetting, knitting, and needle point. And made many gifts, baby blankets, hats, scarves, and framed needle points from her talents.

She loved a good live concert, and we went to a lot of them! Civic Opera House, among her favorites. Even outdoor festivals where there was live music- we would go and have some fun, at a Rodeo, Fall festival, Harvest Fests, you name it!  Balloon Fests, Rib Fests, and more!
At every family get together, where there was a dessert served, If a Pie, or Cake was served, she would ALWAYS just say " I'll have just a SLIVER PLEASE." And a new phrase was born!!
She was very talented and as a family will always remember the best in her, baking for the homeless, Volunteering to help with school and scouting functions. She LOVED children and her family very much. What a sweetheart.
