What 57? I can't believe it. Jake you are missed more then you could even imagine. Sis is always thinking about you everyday. Remember when you would ask. "Do you worry about me?" Well I do but in different way. I know you are with mom and dad resting comfortably. No more pain, no more seizures and people don't have to look at you differently. It does not matter to me because you were perfect to me and the rest of the family. I will take this time to wish you Happy Birthday and many more. Love ya and forever missed.

Jeffrey's Life

April 10, 2012

I'm going to start off by saying that Jeffrey was born at 7mths.  Jeffrey developed slower, however according the doctor's he was developing because of being premature.  At around 9 or 10 mnths old Jeffrey went into a seizure from a high fever.  From there he steadily had seizures until his by-pass surgery in January of 2009.   At about 1 1/2 yrs old Jeffrey started walking, mom and dad noticed that he was walking with a limp.  After some testing, it was found that Jeffrey had mild cerbal palsy and MR.  Jeffrey was able to walk, talk and live his life to the fullest.  Mom and Dad didn't treat Jeffrey as he had a disability or let him give up he, he was a fighter.  Jeffrey had many, many set backs in life with the seizures and other medical issues.  In January of 2009, Jeffrey was sent to the ER for what we thought was a mild cold, it ended up he was having a massive heart attack.  Jeffrey did not have pain like we did, so for him to describe the pain to us, he said he had a sore throat and difficulty breathing.  Jeffrey had emergency by-pass surgery with in the next 2 days of being evaluated at the ER.  WE had a 50/50 chance of him making it thru the surgey.  He again was a fighter!!!!  Jeffrey's life changed after the surgery.  He was with us, but not as independent as he would like to have been.  But he did well under the circumstances.  On March 19, 2011 Jeffrey had a massive heart attack again and was not able to fight this fight.  I know he tried, but the Good Lord wanted him home with his parents!  You fought a good fight brother and now you can rest in peace!!!
