A view of the back of Little Bertha. Looks are deceiving. It is louder and sounds better than my 100 watt Marshall amp. I paid $35.00 for it in 1972.

Water Pedal Closeup. Inside my Water Pedal. It still works great after 40 years. It sounds like your playing guitar under water. Jimmy Lineham invented all his own pedals. To buy an amp or pedal was like an insult to him. Nothing in the stores sounded as

Water Pedal Inside. I paid Jimmy to make me this one back in the mid t1970's. His used a pre-amp for power. My Water Pedal uses a battery. A peice of cardboard was used for a circuit board. It still works.

Water Pedal. An old Wa Wa Pedal that was gutted and turned into a Water Pedal. The Water Pedal was only one of Jimmy's inventions. It sounds like you are playing your guitar under water.

Little Bertha Inside. One capacitor in the top left is bulging. I bought this amp from Jimmy in the early 1970's for $35.00. 16 OHM. 60 Watts. It drives 2 15 inch JBL - D130 speakers.

Little Bertha front view. It drives two 6550 tubes at 60 watts, 16 Ohm's and it sounds better than my Marshall or any store bought amp. It is very loud for 60 watts. When I was 17 years old, I had the loudest amp in my high school. I bought it from Jimmy

Little Bertha side view. Notice the huge output transformer. This was a signature of Jimmy's home made amps. He used army surplus parts. This amp was once an old short wave radio. He gutted it and turned it into a super guitar amp.

Boogy 77 Flyer. This gig went on for 2 days. The audience was at least 1000 people. The stage was built into the side of a barn. The hay loft had been converted to a staging area. The barn was for the band equipment. Jimi was the headliner.
