Never had I known that talking to you that sunday evening before you went to sleep was going to be my last and final.You bid me goodbye and promised to call me after you see the doctor on monday morning for some labwork only to be woken at 2:30 am US time that you had passed on to the world beyond in your sleep.I began to ask questions why this was happening to us right now,when we were all gearing up for your visit to the US after you had secured your visa in the days to come.Only God alone knows why and all I can say is Fare thee well and I promised to continue holding the family together in your absence till we all will meet to part no more.You and Mum should watch over us from where ever you are together.

Dear Mr Wirlen:

It has been decades (1985) since we last saw each other and spoke to each other, but I always had you in my thoughts and wondered how you and your family were doing and wished you well. 

I want to thank you for welcoming us to Kumbo, you late Mr Nsai and other Sasse Old Boys and for making my short stay at Shisong a memorable one. I want to thank you for giving me the honor of taking care of your mother in her last days.

May your soul rest in peace and Farewell

Hi all, here with the final funeral program for our late dad,in Maryland-USA and back in Bamenda-Cameroon.    

We shall have a General wake-keeping here in Maryland on Friday November 30, 2012  at THE VIKINGS CENTER  located on 15212 Dino Drive, Burtonsville, MD 20866 to celebrate the life of our father. It will begin with Holy Mass at 8:00 pm, followed by reception and eulogies interspersed with singing and dancing of religious and traditional music. 

In Bamenda the program is as follows:  

Thursday Dec 13,2012 .

Wake-keeping without corpse at our Foncha Street residence beginning with Holy Mass at 8:00pm till 1:00 am

Friday Dec 14,2012.

6-8 am :        Removal of corpse from the Akum Hospital Mortuary.

9-12 pm:       Laying in state and viewing at the Wirlens Family residence, Foncha-Street Bamenda

1-3 pm :         Funeral Mass and Burial at the Catholic Church cemetery, Foncha-Street Bamenda

3:30- 5 pm:    Refreshment at the Wirlen's Foncha Street residence, Bamenda.
