Daughter of Haimanot Tadesse and Agenehu Gettie, Natanya Gettie was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico on August 24,1991. She passed away on March 14, 2016. She attended University of Texas at San Antonio and Southern Louisiana State University. She was an employee of the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center. Her colleagues remember her as a smart, polite, and vibrant person. Her Family foundly remember her intelligence, sence of humor, beautiful smile and commitment to those she loved.
