Grandpa it has been 1 year today since you left us and joined the peace and comfort on the bright side.... I miss you every day! I know you are here with us and watching over us....I see the signs you send me telling me you are with me, when I'm struggling and that means everything to me. I love you more than words can say.... I miss you but you know you are forever in my heart until the day we meet again. I love you forever

Our condolences to all of Ralph's family. He was an amazing man and we feel fortunate to have known him for many years.
Ralph was a ray of sunshine. He was always upbeat, smiling and so much fun to be around.
He was an inspiration to all. We will miss him.

I was his first born grandchild and we will always have a special bond. He had a smile that was contagious and could light up the room. His heart was warm, kind, loving, and generous. Celebrating 64 years of marriage to my grandmother Rita he showed our family what a loving, caring, respectful marriage was, one that you admired. He touched many lives and made many friends with just his smile and a hello. He will be greatly missed. He will live on in my heart, and one day we will meet again. R.I.P Grandpa I love you always

Ralph Loe - (April 20th 1931 - December 3rd 2015)- R.I.P.

A few days ago we said good bye to our father, as he passed peacefully in his sleep. A man with such a large print on the world will be missed by myself, the family and many friends. It seemed like everyone he met he considered a friend. He was such an incredible father, and as the years passed I came to appreciate the monumental role model he is, and always will be.

He lived a full 84 years with a high priority on family, relationships, business, travel & community.

He and his wife, Rita, of 64 years showed us all what a successful marriage and life partnership looks like.

He will be missed… but, remembered forever.

After his passing we opened a letter he left us. This letter contained detailed instructions about his arrangements. As he didn’t care much for funerals, he requested that we arrange a celebration of his life instead. We will honor his request with his final resting place being  Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home Oregon, and have planned the Celebration of Life after the holidays.

The Celebration of the Life of Ralph Loe will be held at Boulder Falls Conference Center in Lebanon Oregon from 1pm - 4pm on January 10th 2016

We have set up this memorial site to celebrate his legacy and share memories.

What is a Life "well-lived"?
Due to some medical issues as a youngster, Ralph was told not to expect to live a "long life"?... Yet, he lived a long and a full life !
With a focus on Family and Friends.... he was a positive energy in every life he touched. He simply LOVED his family and FRIENDS !
And by example, he led us to believe anything was possible in Life.
Our family is active in several family-owned companies due to his strong belief in the positive power of family owned operations.
He believed in hard work and long term relationships.

"Meet a stranger.... make a friend"  this was his life motto.
We will miss him, but by his example and efforts in life,
our world is a better place.
(and Heaven just became a more interesting place !)
With Love !!

I have so many wonderful memories of my Dad, but the thing that will stick with me the most is the amazing attitude he had and his ready Smile!! ( sometimes with thumbs up )
He made everyone feel special and took the time to connect with many. He made a great example of living, loving and enjoying life.
He faced many heart crisis in his life, was told his time was limited, but with his will to live combined with Mom keeping him going through them all, he persevered.
As we navigate through these first days after his passing, I am reminded by so many how he has touched their lives by the time they have taken to let us know he was special and he will be missed.
I am thankful for him every moment of every day.

Family Weekend at the Beach

December 5, 2015

Beautiful beach weekend in Lincoln City celebrating Mom & Dad's anniversary, where all four children, their spouses and all eight grandchildren were able to join the celebration.  Couldnt let the moment pass without documenting with a family portrait... wide lens required!
