Mrs. Virginia Hopson, beloved former Heard County High School Teacher passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the West Georgia Health Care Center in LaGrange, Georgia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hopson were conducted on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from the Franklin United Methodist Church with the Reverends Brett Mathews and Rick McMahan officiating..
Music was provided by Be Be McMahan, Bonnie Vernon, and Rick Robertson. Those serving as pallbearers were Jeff Barr, Benji Hyatt, Paul Winberg, Jeff Stallings, Scott Hopson, and Bennie Lasseter. Honorary pallbearers were Talmadge Davis, and Gene Richardson.
The interment followed in the Franklin City Cemetery.
