Peter was not only a cousin, but also a very dear and faithful friend.

His vigour and his zest for Life were legendary.

Peter was Mister Caribana, his passion, warrior spirit and knowledge of Caribana was inspirational. He treated me with the greatest respect in every encounter, although he argued passionately when we disagreed. We stand on great shoulders such as his.

My deepest condolences to the Marcelline family. I met Peter sometime in the late 1970s. He was a great friend. His beautiful voice and his laughter has been silenced but memories of him will live on forever in our hearts.

I take this opportunity to pay tribute to Peter who I got to know when I was selected to represent SVGAT on the Caribana board. He served as chair on several occasion and tried to manage the organization while working at City Hall where Caribana was in the limelight from June to August each year. During those times the city was not kind to Caribana and did nothing to help the organization take its rightful place amoung other cultural events. He will be truly missed but his contribution to Caribana will live on forever.
