It was around mid October that I learnt with surppprise that you were sick. Little did I know it was to the extent that will part you away from us.
I find it difficult to beleive that you've gone.
I still have the feelings that I will soon get up from sleep to dicover that this is just a dream. "A Dieu"
We have come to understand that this world is a stage for everyone to play a part. You played your part without any boundaries. The Lord felt it was time for you to leave the stage. Five years mom ... five long years that I have not been able to touch you. Five years of asking why, with no answers. Five years of wishing I could just see you one last time, and tell you thanks for all the things you did for me and my family. Five years full of ifs.... mom, I know you can only be in a better place. I can feel ur presence in out midst all the time. I stand in awe of all that you were ... ur journey was so full of life, love and family. Continue to watch over us. Love u mommy.
Happy Birthday
My dearest mommy,
I came here today to thank you for your constant presence in our lives. My siblings and I celebrated my graduation from Pharmacy school, a journey which could only have begun because of your ceaseless love and suport for us. I remained strong for them and we danced and reminisced all the fond memories that we had when our family was whole. But this early morning and in the privacy of my bedroom, I am weeping and missing you so much more mom. I would give the world for you to have been with us in person mom. We had no doubt that you were here in spirit.
You did such a great job raising me and the finest gentlemen. You left a great legacy and we strive to continue to make it even bigger. Thank you so much for giving us the life that we had, we shall never depart from all that you taught us. We feel cheated that all these professional successes are coming at a time that you are unable to reap the fruits of all that labor. But the Bible promises us that you are in a better place and that there is rebirth after death. Eternally rest in peace mommy, and continue to intercede for us all. You believed in our capabilities more than ourselves, and we thank you immensely for the spirit of hardwork that you instilled in each of us.
Ride on my mommy, ride on Mama General!!! You remain forever in our hearts and our thoughts. Most especially, in our succeses.
