You are truly a great gem,

You overflow with so much love, care and ingenuity. Thanks for been a beacon of light and joy that brightens up our lives.

I remember how you gave oluwatobiloba the name 'Thank God' unusual but it was out of the fullness of your gratitude to God. Am glad I had the opportunity to spend valuable time with you. You are truly a loving Father and Grandpa.

I remember you at the sink washing your plate- so down to earth and humble a truly example of how we should live our lives.

I remember how you would call to check on me and send gifts to 'Thank God' You loved God and lived out the love of God in its entirety.

Grandpa, we all love you so much and you will be truly missed but your beautiful SMILE, your selflessness and your words of counsel will always be remembered for good.

Daddy Adegbaiye, I celebrate your life, because you were a GENUINE Christian and ran your race conscious of heaven. I believe JESUS will welcome you to heaven with open arms. I have fond memories of how you teased me, prayed for me , checked up on me if you didn't hear from me in a while, our conversations about been believers. I remember we came visiting and you told me , "Dupe, pls pray along with me, I want another granddaughter ". I thank GOD for granting you your heart desire. Daddy, rest in perfect peace , odaaro sir.

I am honored to say a few words about grand pa. The news about grand pa's transition was tough for us all but then I remembered that as Christians we are transformed (1Cor15:53).
I will miss grand pa, but I am persuaded that he has gone to a much better country. 

At the same time I find myself thankful for many things.Grand pa lived a very fruitful life and he loved God.

"God put His arms around him
and whispered;"Come with Me."
To that glorious home, we saw him transformed.
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not hold him. We tried indeed we really tried, the best of the best care he got.
God clothed with Honour and Majesty only takes The Best"

More than just an uncle, you loved like a father. Your passing took me by surprise. I guess that bright smile made it seem like you'd be here for many many years to come. We miss you! You were so sure of a great testimony to come and YOU WERE RIGHT!! It has happened! You were fully in the spirit. A prophet walked among us and we recognised him not. Hmm. Daddy, rest well in the bosom of the Lord you loved so much and shared so willingly. You are sorely missed but greatly celebrated. Thank you for sharing life with us. Rest in Perfect Peace.

Sleep well uncle, I will miss your fatherly advice, not to overwork myself and rest.
I suddenly realised, you are the only actual uncle that I had, I thank God for your frankness, sincerity , honesty, truthfulness, unhypocritical views, straightforwardness, direct, candid and open view.

What can I say, you have ran the race and you have finished well, we will all miss you and sleep well until we meet to part no more at Jesus feet.

My grandfather was one of the coolest people I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting. He knew how to make an colorful introduction and he never shied away from a good conversation. He was as curious as anyone I know, always willing and able to learn new pieces of information and never hesitating to share them when the moment was right. Grandpa seemed to always carry a big smile on his face and was always ready to share a good laugh. He was truly a blessing to be around, and an inspiration by all means. Although he has moved on to a better place, I am rest assured he is looking down upon us with a familiar smile on his face. The late Maya Angelou once said this: People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. This is a testament to my grandfather, that made me feel empowered at any given moment. I have only fond memories of you Grandpa, and I will cherish them forever.

"It's with mixed feelings that I post a tribute for my father Adedayo Christopher Adegbaiye. Gratitude and Pain... Where do I begin from? Is it from the privileges you have given me, or the legacies you left for me? Is it the love you showered or the service you rendered? I have to confess that I am grateful to God for a life well spent dad!!! You were love impersonified. Daddy- you lived to give us a fulfilling life and to this we are grateful. Adieu My Friend, My Hero, My Father... If I had the privilege to choose my father again, it would certainly be you!
So I thank God for giving me the right DAD!!!
