This is a very sad news!
Gbenle was a very close friend throughout our Clinical years at ABH. We were in the same group though Aro to Ogbo Ora postings. He had a very special way of laughing such that you could not say she was angry even at a harsh comment/remark at him.
We did not see again since we left UI in 1976. I'm glad however to learn that he had been in the Lord Jesus before his demise.
May the Lord console and comfort those he left behind and grant them all the fortitude to bear the loss.
Rest on in the bossom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Sad indeed to learn of the passing away of a dear friend & mate of 1976 medical graduates of Alexander Brown Hall, UCH, Ibadan (AB'76). Dr. Adegbenle Adegbenro. It was long we saw each other last. He was a fine gentleman, loving and lovable man. He called me a few times. Gbenle was very pleasant and easy going. May God console the family and give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
Rest on, Gbenle.

Although I haven't seen Daddy Adegbenro very often, he has had an enormous impact on my life and the lives of my siblings in ways that are beyond comprehension. He assumed the position of one of the fathers we subsequently had ever since we lost our own. I gave thanks to God for your life, your genuine influence, and the legacy you have left behind. Rest in Christ, and we shall undoubtedly cross paths once more. Gratitude, Daddy Adegbenro

Tribute to the Late Dr. Adegbenle Johnson Adisa Adegbenro PhD orthopedic medicine:

He lived an impactful life. His love and generosity to all especially all his siblings, widows, indigent students, the Church, the extended family, and the Community around him can never be forgotten. He served diligently anywhere he found himself, both at home and abroad. In short, he lived his life for humanity. Many people who came across him in his later life, attested to his close relationship with God, as he often spent his time with them sharing the word of God, especially, about heaven. My brother, benefactor, and confidant. I will greatly miss you.

Adieu, my brother till we meet to part no more.

David Olasunkanmi Adegbenro.

Big daddy Adegbenle Adegbenro, I didn't get to interact with you as much as I would have loved to but I felt your impact beyond our physical interactions. I thank God for the kind of life you lived and the legacy you have left behind. I wish you stayed longer so we could interact more, but God knows the best. I am convinced that you are born again and resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus. Till we might again at Jesus' feet, good night Sir.
