Her roots trace back to the Aderupoko Coker family in Egbaland, Abeokuta, Ogun state. Born to the late Mr. Olatunji Coker and late Mrs. Munibatu Shonibare, Theresa emerged into a family with a rich heritage.
Her journey through life took a beautiful turn when she entered into matrimony with PA. George Thomas, and together they were blessed with five wonderful children. Her role as a wife and mother became a cornerstone of her existence, and she embraced the responsibilities with love and dedication.
Theresa, also known as Iya Femi, was not just a woman of familial bonds; she was a fervent prayer warrior. Her devotion to the Lord was evident in the joy she found in doing the things of God. Actively participating in various church committees, she was a source of strength and compassion to those around her. Her life was a testament to the belief that helping others was not just a duty but a source of genuine pleasure.

Mrs. Thomas dedicated a significant portion of her career to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Idumagbo, Lagos Island. Working diligently under the leadership of the late Msgr. Pa. Patrick Somide, she contributed to the church's growth and community service, leaving an enduring legacy.
