Dear Family and Friends,
A 'Celebration of Life' Memorial Mass for Alec is scheduled in Grenada as follows:
SUNDAY, 8th SEPTEMBER 2013 (his actual birthday) at 4:00 PM
Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church
Grand Anse, St. George's - GRENADA
Parish Priest: Fr. Clifton Harris, O.P.
I urge you to share these details with those you know in Grenada who may wish to attend.
I received a letter from the Ministry of Health sanctioning the proposed project to be funded in memory of Alec. Next month I will be meeting with Mrs. Ann David-Antoine, Advisor to the Minister of Health, to see how best the funds collected to-date can be put to use.
Following various enquiries regarding donations to fund this facelift project at the General Hospital in St. George's, Grenada, and given that this is a one-time funded project and not an on-going memorial fund, it is too intricate (and not necessary) to set up a foundation specific to this.
The easiest way was to open a separate United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU) account where deposits can be made directly (see the "his life" tab of this site regarding banking info for direct deposit). Alternatively, checks can be made to my name for deposit to that specific account, indicating in the memo "In memory of Alec Telesford".
Please feel free to share with others you believe may be interested in supporting this project in commemoration of Alec, and to the benefit of a cause in his beloved homeland.
Thank you for the continuing outpouring of love, caring and support that you have shown to our family during this difficult time, and I so look forward to seeing those of you who can make it to the service on September 8th.
With thanks and one love,
Debbie

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Our prayers and thoughts are with you in this time of grief.
Words cannot express our feelings of your lost. Alec, you will be dearly missed.
Sincerely,
Stephen and Patricia (Jabous)
I know he was loveable, because of how you loved him. You held him in high esteem, and few wives have spoken favorably of their husbands as you have of your “Alec T.” Let that warmth continue to keep you in the days ahead. You will continue to be in my prayers. Jean and I send our Condolences to all.
I grew up with the telesfords in La Digue and we were all one family.
We had some memoriable times. Alec when I heard of your death. It really hurt but I known that you are now in peace with your savior.
Condolences to your family. Love always Celia and Arnold

Poem-If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So don't you ever cry.
The love that's deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
You'll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars.
Farewell dear friend-will miss you greatly, but you will always be my friend.

Happy Birthday
I said a Prayer for you today. Take care of Gary... Gone but not forgotten.
A Letter to Daddy…
DADDY….
There is nothing I'm going to say today that you didn't already know to be true, but it seems fitting to tell you one last time out loud.
Alec Telesford, my father, was nothing short of the most amazing dad a girl could ask for, and when we walked into a room together...it wasn't uncommon for there to be a feeling that conveyed “That girl got the last daddy in the world”… and thats because it was true...i did in fact get the last daddy in the world!
The pride I feel when I think about you overwhelms me with joy and happiness every morning I open my eyes. And I am forever blessed to have had you for a father. A man of honor and respect that has thought me so many things simply by example.
Always honorable, truthful, unpretentious, giving, kind and full of unconditional love. You showed me the example of what a man should be, so when it was time to pick a life partner, id know what that looked like….( and I think I did pretty good, as Keith mirrors what I saw in you in so many ways). You set an example for how I should raise my sons, leaving behind so many lessons I can pass on to them to make them men of righteousness. My favorite being...”Daughter...You cannot be Wrong and Strong” as you'd often say to me when I being was being stubborn about something I had done wrong…. Cant count the amount of times I say that to your munchkins...and they are only 2!
I will miss every little thing about you… to name a few... the way you would say, “ya ya ya” when you had had enough of whatever it is was going on or when you were being harassed by one of us! When I would say something smart and you'd say “ Ja, nice to see my college money at work!” or “yes Chubs...Yuh moved to the head of the Class!
Your infectious laugh, especially when you had just heard a super corny joke you couldn't wait to retell us! And your ever growing uniform collection of Rugby shirts from my HS days, that gained new life in your closet!
My heart hurts that you are no longer here with us, for I'm still that little girl that needs her daddy, but I know that even if I don't understand it, the good Lord needed you more. I take comfort and pride in who I am today ….thanks to you daddy! And I know that you’ll continue to guide my thoughts, my heart and my mind from up above!
My heart will forever be with yours,
Your one and only daughter
Chantal
A Poem for Alec
In Loving Memory of Alec
It's really not farewell, my dear friend
But just a last Good-Bye,
For memories live forever
I treasure mine with pride.
Father, Husband, Brother and Friend
You were the very best,
When other names are mentioned
You'll always top the rest.
Grenada, the land that you so loved
Saltfish and bake, roti and curry,
Jump up and wine down
Wished for a miracle so you won't go in a hurry.
You have taken a new journey
You have gone the last long mile,
And when your name is spoken
It will be spoken with a big smile.
Missed by everyone, you'll always be
You are heaven's own ally,
It is really not farewell, dear friend,
But just a last Good-Bye.
Will always hold you dear in my heart. Until we meet again . . .
Peace and Love, Mo
