Oh my Baby Gurl!! How I miss you each and every day! I miss my best friend! The one who laughed and cried with me! YOU!! The one I could talk to about everything!! I love you so much and it is so hard to not talk to you! Today, your birthday, we had your alfredo, Gary made, and cupcakes, the kids made. Guess what, it didn't rain! You said when Dad passed you asked him to not have rain on your birthday and here is another year no rain! I only hope you are pain free and enjoying yourself! I love you Baby Gurl, forever!! Until we meet again, keep me in your prayers and in your heart!! Love and kisses honey!!! Love you!!

Amanda everytime I saw you you had a smile on your face even though you struggled with pain and illness. You always laughed that I didn't see your mom as often and we would talk like we never were apart . Your smile will be missed

her Life

At the age of 5, Amanda was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. Her odds of surviving this cancer were given at 10 to 15%. We didnt give up and my baby won, sort of, she beat the odds. Unfortunately,  in beating the odds, the chemotherapy and radiation did horrible things to her body. She became a type 1 diabetic, liver failure, heart failure, kidney failure, bone infections and many other illnesses. Recently she was diagnosed with yet another rare disease called calciphylaxis.  This would be the final fight my baby fought. All the years of illness weakened her body and she was not able to fight this! She tried, even after being told the odds are less than 10% she would survive. She fought. She fought a good fight. The toll on her body showed and my baby reached up to God who calmly brought her home!! Many years of fighting, she is now at peace and strong once again!! Love you and miss you always and forever Baby Gurl!!

My fighter

Shared by Kathy Goodlet-Haskins on January 14, 2019

My baby gurl fought so hard for 25 years. I cant think of anybody I know or have known that could endure all the pain my baby went through, pretty much on a daily basis! She fought hard! She was so worried I would not be ok and I was more worried about her!! She went through hell on Earth and I wish I couldve taken all her pain and struggles away and let her be a kid!! I love and miss her so much and I know she is at peace but my heartache continues! A piece of my heart went with her the day God called her Home!! I love you Baby Gurl!!! Until we meet again!! (You and me against the world)
