A lot of us knew Ms. Ann Wilson from Clear Brook High School, but the very best of us were blessed enough to have her while we attended Webster Intermediate as well. She was one of those teachers that left a mark on our hearts forever. We need more teachers like her to get some of the kids today into some shape! Although this is a sad time for us, her family, and everyone who knew her, we should feel extremely blessed, proud and grateful that God allowed this wonderful woman to enter our lives, and settle into our hearts! We love you Ms. Wilson!! ‪#‎RIH‬

Today, the world lost a true master teacher, Ann Wilson. She was my Algebra II teacher at Clear Brook High School and one of the best teachers there. Between her and Ramona Griffiths, I do not know how I would have survived high school or ever had the courage to be who I am today. The world will never know how many students these two fantastic women have impacted. Mrs. G, you are NOT allowed to go anywhere anytime soon else I'll have to kick your ass myself. Each and every day in both of your honors.

Today the world lost an amazing friend, teacher, and leader but God gained a new Angel. I know that Mrs. Wilson is not only going to be watching down over me but over her beautiful daughter Juli, her son Jeff, and very beloved granddaughter Christina. She was an inspiration to everyone she met. She had a desire not to just teach what was to be taught in school but what we needed for life! She truly wanted us to learn, live, and lead long and successful lives. She was never afraid to share her bad experiences with us in hopes that it would help enlighten us in knowing that it all does get better in the end! She was more then a teacher and a mentor to me. She was my Best Friend for the last 15+ years. I love you Ole Lady and will always hold you near and dear to me! Fly high and be free of the pain!

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Mrs. Wilson at Clear Brook. I was always so impressed by how she taught math- The most complicated problem became the simplest with Mrs. Wilson. She was an AWESOME math teacher! She loved her students. She loved the Clear Brook family. We loved Mrs. Wilson. To the family, may happy memories and the Bible’s promise at Acts 24:15 “there is going to be a resurrection” provide comfort and sustain you during this most difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please remember that God is “close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). Turn to Him in prayer and He will give you the strength and provide you with peace-“Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6, 7)

I had the fortune to have Mrs. Wilson's class as a freshman at Clear Brook, and I know without a doubt my high school experience would not have been nearly the same without her. From freshman year on, I got to school 30 minutes early every day for my "Mrs. Wilson time", where we would just talk and she would impart her amazing energy and wisdom. She was my "school mom", and I knew that she would always be there with a smile and words of encouragement. She made a truly indelible impact on my life, and I know that I am a better person for having had the opportunity to know her and learn from her. She will be greatly missed.

Such a time to celebrate wonderful lives. I just came from my nieces funeral who died on Feb. 3. Now I am hearing about Ann, talk about celebrating beautiful lives. Ann, was the kindest, loving, caring, sharing, beautiful inside and out, fantastic teacher, amazing lady I had the pleasure of getting to know while at Brook. I was so thankful that my daughter Shauna was able to have her as a teacher. She is one teacher in Shauna's life that she and I always would talk about with such heart felt love. There are so many people that you come across in years of working for a district but there will be only a very few that you will hold dearly in your heart. Ann, will be forever in my heart. I thank God for the blessing of being able to know this angel. God bless her, her family, and the ones that will hurt now that she is gone. She is now at peace with our Lord. Love you, Ann.

Ann Wilson the things you have taught me through out the years will forever live with me. The classroom was just a start. I remember leaving Webster intermediate thinking how I would begin the next chapter without you andMichael Clinton Sloan. And you followed me all the way to graduation. I'll never forget that day. Not because I got to throw my cap In the air, but because you got to announce my name as I walked across that stage. You will always be a mentor to me and I love you for that. I pray you go in peace and you will forever live with us. ‪#‎wis‬ ‪#‎cbhs‬

Dustin Delsi Oh no. She was a sweetheart. She will be missed.   Brandon Slawson Sorry for your loss, bro.   Juli Johnston Morris My mom truly loved y'all.   Michael Clinton Sloan Ryan, Ms. Wilson was not only beloved by her students but also among her teacher peers. Some of you may recall that my classroom was next door to Ms. Wilson. There were many times at the end of a long day that I stopped by to tell her goodbye, and so often she was intently examining student papers spread out before her. I commented one time that, as many hours as she put into grading and analyzing papers, she might just as well sleep at school. She laughed, as usual, and continued her work. She was willing to go any distance to help her students. Ms. Wilson was a rare teacher.
Kelly Wilson Myers Ryan. Such a sweet sentiment for a beloved mentor from your past. Makes me remember all my teacher/mentors from my school days. I believe teaching is a calling and true teachers are a blessing to the kids who pass through their doors.   John Hare Oh my god I had no idea! She was absolutely my favorite teacher ever! I loved her so much and miss her with all my heart.
