RIP Dr. Anthony Njiru
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Anthony Benson Karanja Njiru, 44, born on August 9, 1967 and passed away on February 14, 2012. We will remember him forever.
Tony was son to Mr & Mrs Njiiru. He was brother to Ken Muinamia, Sam Gichuhi & Alex Ndorongo. He was Nephew, Cousin and Uncle to many - he was loved and adored by many more!
Alittle Bio Data:
Tony attended Aga Khan & Chogoria High School.
He then attended University of Nairobi (Dental Surgery) & Leeds University (Masters of Dental Surgery).
He worked as a pathologist at Kenyatta Dental Hospital until his passing.
Dr Njiru is celebrated by many, and remembered for his empathy & generosity while still remaining professional - a quality so unique - and delivered with a smile. We miss you so so much!

Dr Njiru was my dentist since 2008,2009 (then in high school) to 2012 (then a campus student), he was really good at his trade. My oral cavity was not strange to him, from 4 tooth extractions, to root canals, to braces, it was really a long journey. Daktari had a good sense of humour as well. RIP Daktari. You will be missed.

Dr. Njiru, as we referred to him. Was very humble , a listener and a dedicated pathologist. He set up Dental histopathology at KNH. Friday trimming , was his, for those who understand. He left a vacuum and a much needed specialty too soon. Doc Rest in peace.
