ForeverMissed

It is with great heartbreak that we are notifying you of the unexpected passing of Anthony (Tony) Mennucci, age 66. He was found at home on November 20th, and his death was associated with his long term battle with diabetes and heart issues. It brings us comfort to know his everyday struggle with his health has come to an end and he can now rest in peace. He is survived by 4 beautiful daughters Rachelle, Camille, Chelsea and Marissa, as well as his step-son Anthony whom he treated as his own, and his two younger brothers Ed and Kevin.

Those of you who were friends of Tony knew that his number one goal in life was to make people laugh. Whether it was telling jokes with his buddies at the bar or charming the waitress with his silly sense of humor, he was always trying to put a smile on everyone's face. Witty, sarcastic and downright hilarious, you couldn't escape a conversation with him, without a good laugh.

He was a hustler, always looking to find new work for his stucco and stone business. There wasn't a project that he couldn't figure out and he took pride in every job he did along the way. Many days he pushed himself to the brink by working beyond his capacity to get the job done.

He was an avid Buckeye fan, and his love for college football ran deep. Every Saturday was his favorite, spending time tailgating or at the bar with friends to watch the game. He was their biggest supporter and always kept a positive outlook on the Buckeyes. I'm sure up in heaven, Michigan still sucks.

One thing everyone knows is that Tony never missed an opportunity to tell you how proud he was of his children. His conversations mainly revolved around how wonderful his daughters are, about how much he loved Anthony- the son he never had, and he enjoyed showing everyone pictures of his 8 beautiful grandchildren.

We appreciate everyone who made his life even a little brighter. Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of support and concern for him and our families. His love and wonderful spirit will be forever missed. He expressed wishes to be cremated and have his ashes spread somewhere on a beach, so we are in the process of making those arrangements. We will not be holding a showing or funeral, but plan on having a small memorial in his honor at a later date.
