Her name was Barbara Georgina Harris born May 11,1948 and gained her wings May 5,2022 at 11:41 am. To the person writing this which is me Barbara Lee Ann Bridges I’m her name sake I am her first grandchild (technically 2nd I had a brother before me God bless him) she told me that I had the darkest brown eyes and that I saved her and mom (due to my brother only blessing  us with a month being here mind you my mom was only 15 going through this )  they loved me so much as I grew up it was always me my mom grandmom I don’t remember a time when I was from the ages 2-10 not being with both my grandmom and my momma I couldn’t have asked for a better life holidays us three would be sitting at the kitchen table cutting greens making coenbread or for not birthdays getting to dress up like a princess and be absolutely spoiled by my grandmom and mom another thing i remember my mom and grandmom they always lived next to each other cuz we lived in Penn Village or Bright Hope or what I call it The Vill and I as I got older more into my adult years you still were my suga we had connection whew I know you would need help with something and you would say how did you know I needed you or I was just about to call you grandmom you have touched so many people the way you would pray for people my grandmom had what you call a prayer closer where she would get up at 4:30 in the morning and she would go in there and pray for anyone who asked her to pray for them she could recite that bible better then your Sunday Pastor or better then a Pastors wife My grandmom gave me everything from advice to prayer from prayer to genuine unconditional love and  then i got married and you were a lil iffy in the beginning because you didn’t know how to take him but you got have a couple conversations with him and you loved him like he was one of your own some time passed and we became your care takers mom me buba braheem and uncle richie you loved us working for you you had a different connection with each and everyone of us I worked night shift which included getting you something to eat if you hadn’t eaten already then we would do meds and  either listen to some music or watch a lil tv and while she watched tv I would tuck her into bed which she would tell me everyday that me tucking her was the best part of her day and she will never know how much she  meant to me I’m gonna leave off here…. I love you always grandmom

5 fun facts about my Suga aka my grandmoms 

1. she was born in Germany
2.she then moved and lived in buffalo New York
3. My grandmother had a brother and they lost contact my mom found her brother in 2019 through Facebook they got to see each other and hang out at least 3 times before she passed away I thought it was so cool that my mom actually found him through facebook
4.she loved her Coca Cola sodas
5 she’s one hell of a prayer warrior if you want someone to pray for you I’m seriously pray for you my grandmom was the one you would want to pray for you
