Berny was a gentle man. He will always be remembered for his hugs , for his love of children and people in general. A few weeks before he went to heaven, he told one of his nurses that he would serve his country again without even thinking about it. Berny loved his country and his Lord. Rest in peace my love until we meet again.

We knew Berny for some time,mostly at church and different functions.He was a very kind person and very friendly and always gave you a hug. He and Bobby worked in the Deacon Ministry and always seem to get along together.He will be missed very much from our mist. God Speed . Love good friends Bobby and Virginia.

I will certainly miss Berny for his hugs, humor and wonderful advice. May he rest in peace.
