Her Life

Her obituary is fitting for this section

July 31, 2012

On July 28, 2012 the world lost a beautiful angel. Beverly Cecilia Maestas was welcomed with open arms from her grandmother Cecilia and three uncles Jim, Don and Tom. Beverly was born November 4, 1989 to Gilbert and Mary Maestas of Tooele, UT. Beverly was really close to her two brothers Lawrence and Christopher and would do anything for them. She loved spending time with her family; Sunday dinners with the whole family was one of her other favorite things. Beverly loved her nephew Nyjah and her niece Nevaeh with all of her heart. Beverly graduated from Tooele High School in 2008 and she had many dreams that she looked forward to accomplishing in her life. One of her dreams was to become a paramedic/firefighter because she wanted to help save peoples' lives. Beverly had already achieved her EMT certification. Beverly was currently attending Salt Lake Community College and was thinking about joining the Air Force to help her achieve her dream. She would always put peoples' needs before her own and would reschedule her plans at the drop of a hat to help someone out who needed her. Beverly loved the medical field and was currently working at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT as a Patient Care Assistant on the Oncology floor. Beverly loved and cherished all of her patients and treated them like they were part of her own family. Beverly loved and enjoyed working with all of her co-workers. Beverly was the type of person who was always looking to find new friends and to invite people into her life. She had many friends and would love to spend her days off with her friends and family. Beverly had such a big heart and loved so many people. Beverly loved the outdoors and loved to go camping. Beverly would go fishing with her dad and brother Christopher whenever she could. She loved to plan days where she and her brother Lawrence could go have lunch or go to church together. Beverly and her mom were really close and did everything together; they were best friends and were always there for one another. Beverly loved her two sisters-in-law so much that she would never use the word in-laws she always called them her sisters. She had many opportunities were she got to go vacation with her family. She just recently returned from New Mexico were she went with her parents and many aunts and uncles. Last year she enjoyed going to Las Vegas with her brother Lawrence and sister Rhonda where many memories were created. Beverly was looking forward to going to Las Vegas with all of her friends next month and would talk about all the fun things they had planned and were going to take lots of pictures to show her family. Beverly, you will be dearly missed. You were taken away from us way to soon but we know deep down inside that God has a very special plan for you in heaven and you will be looking down and watching over all your family and friends.
