Tributes
Leave a tributevery sorry to hear about Bill, or better known to me, "your Dad"! I think I only met him once but feels like more through the Santa Barbara half marathon and all the other events you did for the fight. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

I never met my "partner in the fight" but what a guy! Jodi, your love for him was so apparent. May all of you have the strength to get through each day, and may you be comforted by wonderful memories of this wonderful, strong, courageous man. My heart is with you. With much love, Linda Robertson
Bill was my classmate in many high school activities - you will see many photos in the yearbook with both of us. Bill was an all around good guy. We also were roommates at the University of Buffalo our freshman year. I transferred to Penn State and we lost touch, but we both became Air Force officers.
I am sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Bill; and great respect for him to have raised 4 wonderful daughters. The golf bag that I still use today is a North Ranch one he gave me many years ago! Bless you guys.
Love, Dennis
I wanted to take a moment to tell you all how sorry we were to hear that we had lost Bill. Reading through the many tributes, it is overwhelmingly clear that we all agree - our lives were touched by one of the most gentle of souls. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I have been waiting for the right words, but they still elude me. I am heartbroken, but know your dad will live forever through your beautiful spirits. You are blessed to be able to call such an incredible man Dad. Nothing, not even multiple myeloma can take that from you. I love you Jodi, and I am so sorry. All my love, Jana
Please accept our condolences on your loss of Bill. We know that this loss will leave you with sadness and sorrow, but over time you will be uplifted and strengthened by all of the wonderful memories that Bill has left in your hearts.
Jerry and Pat Black
I can only think of how you filled Bill's life with so much love and caring. I love hearing the stories of your days and nights with that special man. He was blessed and I know he blessed you too. It is difficult to go on without those we love but our memories make it possible. May God bless each of you.
Looking at this tribute to Bill, we are reminded of Christmas tree lots, Bingo, pasta dinners, etc. to raise funds for our schools. Bill tolerated all the craziness like a champ, and supported Chaz in his own quiet way. A wonderful gracious man and a great host we will miss!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you now. Bill was both talented and kind, two traits rarely found in combination. He will be greatly missed.

one could have put up a better fight or kept a more upbeat attitude than
Bill did during the six year long battle with his illness. Speaks volumes of strength and character. Don&Linda

I was spending some quiet time this morning feeling grateful for family and missing my dad when someone unknowingly sent me this.

(at St. Mary's)
may the tide
that is entering even now
the lip of our understanding
carry you out
beyond the face of fear
may you kiss
the wind then turn from it
certain that it will
love your back may you
open your eyes to water
water waving forever
and may you in your innocence
sail through this to that

I love this picture on your "home page" - it was from a trip we took to Fort Hamilton in Marin County where you did some of your Air Force training. Why didn't I record your stories? You are missed every day.
