Hi Ma, today is a very special day ... your Born Day! You are on my mind and in my heart very often. No matter how many years pass since you left us here, how can I be sad or disappointed because being absent from the body is being present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8. How can anyone top that!
It's been a few years and I still haven't gotten used to you being gone. I miss you and would trade the world to have a today conversation with you now! Continue to rest on until we meet again.
Mom, even though it's been 2 years, it seems like only yesterday that you were here. I take comfort in the fact that I know you aren't suffering anymore and I'm confident that you are eternally resting in peace!
Mom, I miss you! I wish my children could have had the chance to meet you. I want to thank you for helping me to become the man I am today. I remember you teaching me how to cook, clean and press clothes, "You won't always have someone, so you need to be able to take care of yourself" Thank You! ......I LOVE YOU!!
Grandma, I am thankful for the last moments we shared before your passing and that we both were able to express our feelings to one another. To the end, though your body was not at its best, you were of sound mind which was a blessing to those of us who were able to convey our love for you. ~ May your soul rest in eternal peace.

Today, I passed by the nursing home you were residing in before you passed away. I saw a lady pushing her mother who was in a wheelchair down the street, and the despair on the mothers face reminded me of the same despair I saw on your face every time I visited you at the nursing home. I am sorry I was not in the position to take you home with me and take care of you. But you are in a better place and are at home with Jesus Christ. A much better place than anyone on earth can offer. I miss you Ma!
