September 23, 2016

Mr. Hyatt was born March 19, 1941, in Franklin, Georgia, to the late Herman and Eunice (Gladney) Hyatt. He was retired from General Motors where he excelled as a tool and die maker in skilled trades and was a member of UAW Local 10 in Doraville, Georgia. He was a selfless person who always put the needs of his family before his and was the first to help someone whether he knew them or they were a complete stranger. He was a Christian by faith.

He is survived by his two daughters, Cindy Young (Blake) of Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Mindy Runyan of Franklin, Georgia; two grandchildren, Brent Young of Spring Hill, Tennessee, and Kayla Runyan of Franklin, Georgia; two sisters, Thelma Hooper of Powder Springs, Georgia, and Melba Templeton (Bill) of Hogansville, Georgia; as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray, Billy, Riley, Reese, and Bruce Hyatt; and sisters, Adele Daniel, Bertha Moore, Ruby Duke, and Bernice Lemons.

Bob was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and loyal friend and will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
