On  Oct 4, 2011, Branca lost her courageous battle with leukemia.

Born in Barcelos, Portugal on December 25, 1985, Branca was a nurse, where she devoted herself to her patients.

Always remembered by her mother, Laura Ferreira; her father Anthony Silva and his wife Emilly; brother Bruno Silva and his wife Isabel; niece Briana Silva; her brother Daniel Silva and her boyfriend José Coelho.
