Brenda Jean Harris was born on July 5, 1973. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Louis Harris and Ruby Lee Harris; a loving sister, Patricia Ann Harris; and a loving brother, Larry Darnell Harris.

Brenda was a very loving and kind hearted person that accepted Christ at an early age. She was always happy and full of joy whenever you saw her. She was a strong hearted woman whose main focus in life was to see her children happy. Brenda loved helping others and she showed it in all of the support she gave to Kydeshia while she was a member of the B.C.H.S. Band. Brenda continued her support of the band until her death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two children, Kydeshia Brianna Cowan and James Lamar Harris (Jay-Mann); two sisters, Lillie I. Harris-Childress, Lorain, OH and Brendora Smith, St. Paul, MN; four brothers, Joe Lee (Janace) Harris, Henry Harris, Antwain (Jacqueline) Harris and Robert Harris, all of Union Springs, AL; five aunts, Lillie Keaton, Inell (John) Davis, both of Columbus, GA, Clara Barnes, Richmond, VA, Bettie Woolford and Elizabeth Scott, both of Buffalo, NY; two uncles, Andrew (Grace) Harris, Rochester, NY and Clarence Harris, Seale, AL; a special companion, Matthew Harris; a devoted mother figure, Ms. Georgia Ephard; special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including her special friends, Theresa (Alexander) Swanson, Jennifer Streeter, Beverly Porter and Mr. Rozell (Polo) Harris, Sr.
