Brian Thomas Clarke passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on February 3rd, 2019 in Cambridge, Ontario at the age of 67.
Brian is survived by the love of his life, his wife Terry, and his three adored sons: Darryl of Bowmanville, Jeremy (Natalie) of Owen Sound, and Adam (Tiffany) of Cambridge. Loving papa to Ellie, Carter, Cameron, and soon Reid. Survived by his siblings Rod (Mary Lou) of Kelowna, BC, Jeff (Jeanine) of Stratford, Ontario, and Lori Sheehy of Ottawa, Ontario, as well as their families. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Eloise Clarke of Stratford.
Brian was born on July 11, 1951 in Sarnia, Ontario. He graduated from Dr. G.W. Williams High School in Aurora, Ontario in 1970, and went on to study at Ryerson University. He married Terry in 1974 and they welcomed three sons in the happy years that followed. Brian’s faith meant a great deal to him. He was an active member of Meadowvale First Baptist Church in Mississauga for 30 years. Brian loved his family, and loved his friends. He played ball hockey regularly and loved to golf in the summer. There was nothing he loved better than a good laugh and a Tim Hortons coffee – preferably at the same time.
Brian brought his friends and family together on January 26th to witness his personal testimony. Everyone who attended is thanked for their presence on this important night. It meant the world to Brian.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for 1 pm on Friday, February 8th, 2019, at Forward Church (55 Franklin Blvd in Cambridge, Ontario). Please use the main entrance to enter the church. Donations in Brian's memory can be made to the Salvation Army.
