Brian was born in Riverside, California, the first child of his parents, Brad and Ann (Russ) Glassco. He was a loyal, loving son who doted upon his two younger sisters, Elizabeth and Alicia. He enjoyed camping and Boy Scouts, and he excelled in youth sports including baseball and basketball. 

Brian excelled academically, was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed learning about history and political studies. He formed a close group of friends at Redlands High School, many of whom he remained very close with after graduation in 1999. He participated in the Associated Student Body, the yearbook, and started a political activism club at RHS, amongst many other activities. He was the captain of the varsity RHS basketball team. 

Brian received a Regent's Scholarship to University of California Santa Barbara and completed his studies in History there in 3 years. He studied abroad in Galway, Ireland. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego in 2007. He was an active member of the Wild Game Feed who help Orange County youth experience outdoor activities. 

That same year, on September 8, 2007, he married the love of his life, Christina (Sayler). Together they raised two beloved children; Cora, born July 12, 2011, and William, born December 16, 2012. Brian deeply adored his children and family and was pursuing a career in teaching at the time of his death.
