ForeverMissed

Bruce C Augustino, age 70, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly surrounded by his family on October 14, 2022.
He grew up in Bridgeport, NJ. Bruce had a passion for many things in life; fishing, a good joke, and bringing things back to life with his “Mr. Fixit” skills, but he cherished his time with his wife and family above all else. He met the love of his life and wife of 50 years, Olivia, in high school, and raised a beautiful family together with daughters, Brenda and Marie.
He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to those in need and act as a positive shining example of what a husband, father, and man should strive to be. After serving his community as a police sergeant in the Paulsboro Police Department and owner of Clarksboro Home Video, Bruce spent his later years working at Fulton Bank and Gloucester County Serv-a-Tray. Bruce was quick with a joke, easy with a smile and calming with his presence alone. He taught his children and grandchildren that kindness and integrity were the best virtues a person could have, and he displayed those values every day in his life. He enjoyed supporting his grandchildren at their various sporting events, watching the Flyers and Eagles, his beloved pet Chewie, he especially liked his fishing expeditions with his grandchildren, always open to a dare, enjoyed family BBQs with his smoked meats, and his Christmas spirit. Bruce was simply a good man, friend, father, and husband. A good soul that will be greatly missed and loved by all those who knew him.
Bruce is survived by his wife Olivia (nee Luzzo), daughters Brenda Cimorelli (Robert) and Marie Connor (Michael) and five grandchildren, Brendan, Benjamin, Olivia, Megan, and Grace, sister-in-law Frances DeMarzio, siblings Charlotte Bruzek (Ken), Judith Augustino (Alan Gelfand), Nancy Dickerson (Charles), Gary Augustino (Barbara), and many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents John and Charlotte Augustino, in-laws Benjamin and Frances Luzzo, brothers-in-law Anthony Luzzo and Robert DeMarzio, and brothers John and Anthony Augustino.

Visitation Fri., Oct. 21, 2022 from 10:30-11:45am at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main St, Mantua, NJ 08051, with Bruce’s Funeral Mass to be offered at 12pm. Interment Private.
